This beautiful Scandinavian Lodge studio has granite countertops throughout the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you need for home-cooked meal and the outside balcony provides wonderful views of the valley. The living room has a large flat screen television and a gas fireplace. The sleeping area offers queen-sized murphy bed that easily folds away in the wall to provide more living space for relaxing after a day on the slopes. There is also a memory foam sofa sleeper that is much more comfortable than a typical hide-a-bed. There is a 100 yard walk back to the property from the base of the Thunderhead Lift, or guests may choose to ride the complimentary shuttle to and from the ski area base. There is also a heated pool and hot tub on the premises.

Please note that the Scandinavian Lodge complex has a comprehensive no-smoking policy that includes decks, patios, parking lot, common area around the pool, etc. Smokers can partake in their vehicles with windows closed only.

On-Demand Shuttle Service
Shuttle service at this property is provided complimentary to guests of Pioneer Ridge. It is on-demand from 7:30am until 10:45pm for transportation to/from the ski area and throughout Steamboat Springs, grocery stores, downtown and the mountain included. Winter shuttle service begins when the ski area opens and continues through end of ski season.

Great ski in and out condo

This is a great little condo, heated pool and hot tub, short walk to the Thunderhead lift makes it really accessible for skiers. Nice that they have parking and offer shuttle service to/from town and gondola too

Place was great, the fireplace didn’t work for the first night but they came and fixed it on day 2 which was great! Great customer service and the maintenance guys were so nice and helpful. Easy walk to the ski lift was a nice treat to not deal with the gondola lines. Loved the pool and hot tub

Had a wonderful experience. Love the location to the ski hill and the beautiful view from the balcony. You can definitely hear footsteps, especially with ski boots on, from the unit above, but not much of an issue outside of morning ski prep. The unit had everything that two people would need for a ski vacation. I especially like the convenient hooks for towels and clothes in the bathroom.

Great stay and great location

Very happy with our stay at Scandinavian Lodge. Great facility with everything we needed and a beautiful view of the valley. Great location near the Thunderhead Express lift makes this almost a ski in - ski out property. Because this unit is on the main level with other units above, a whole family with ski boots can be readily heard from the upper floor, but outside of the morning ski prep, this was not much of an issue.

Birthday Ski Trip

The three of enjoyed staying in this condo that was very close to the lift and had a great hot tub and pool. The pots and pans need to be upgraded and their were no sheets for the sleeper sofa. I was thinking there was one bedroom per the listing, but after going back to review it, it did state that it was a studio as well. For three people it was fine though.

Great place to start a ski day from

We booked the place because we were looking for an option that would allow us to start a ski day without having to go to the base area and deal with the gondola. This place worked out perfectly! It was about a 2 minute walk from the condos to the Thunderhead lift, and we never once had to go all the way down to the base. The place is a little small, but was cozy for 2 of us. I think with 4 people staying at once it would have been pretty crowded.
