On-Demand Shuttle Service

Shuttle service at this property is provided complimentary to guests of Pioneer Ridge. It is on-demand from 7:30am until 10:45pm for transportation to/from the ski area and throughout Steamboat Springs, grocery stores, downtown and the mountain included. Winter shuttle service begins when the ski area opens and continues through end of ski season.

Base Area (within a mile, no ski access): The Iron Oak Duplex is located off of Mt. Werner Road, less than 1 mile to the ski area. The drive is less than 5 minutes long, but there is a ski area shuttle that services the parking lot across Mt. Werner Road, less than 100 yards away.

Amanda, at Pioneer Ridge, helped me find the perfect rental house for our trip. The house was adequately sized for our group of 12 guys. It was well maintained and conveniently located near the slopes. The staff at Pioneer Ridge were very attentive and responsive. The on-demand shuttle service was exceptional!

We truly enjoyed our week in Steamboat! The house was the perfect size and location for our family. Other than some maintence and updating that needs to be done to the house it was a great place to stay. The rental management company was fantastic! They were very responsive to our concerns and extremely helpful!

Location and unit layout are great. Perfect arrangement for our group of 6 adult couples. VIP shuttle service on-call is amazing plus the city bus stop is one block away. Very Helpful to have so many separate bed room spaces and bathrooms. We loved the game table and spare refrigerator for drinks in the basement for those who wanted to stay up late and not disturb the others. Hot tub is wonderful. Lots of clean towels were appreciated. Having a giant kitchen table was the best so we could all eat together. And bar stools and bar counter was also helpful. The extra folding chairs we found in a closet were super appreciated.

Perfect for Group Ski Trip

The house worked out great for our group of 16. Plenty of beds and good proximity to the mountain with a complimentary private shuttle service that made it easy getting around. The hot tub was a little finicky but the property management did their best to fix issues in a timely manner. Would recommend this property to those looking to book a trip to Steamboat.

Guys week in the mountains

Great Spot for a big group

This location had everything that we needed to host a big group of friends. There was tons of space for everyone and so many places to sleep that almost everyone got a bed to themselves which is rare. I would absolutely stay here again especially if I wanted to be close to the ski resort.

Spacious home for larger groups - nice location

10 friends stayed in this property in April 2021 for 3 nights. It is perfect for larger groups, plenty of space, and it had all amenities that we needed. Plenty of parking space (2 cars allowed in the garage, and 4 cars in the driveway), and convenient location. The hot tub was also a nice touch, and the grill on the patio was great for cooking. The house needs a bit of updating overall, but it was very clean and had what we needed, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Good rental for large groups.

Adequate property, had a group of 16 that was well accommodated. Shuttle to and from the slopes was priceless, and an absolute necessity. The property needs a bit of work/updataing, carpet is a bit old and dingy. But all in all, served us well.

The house was a little dated - not all the beds were comfortable and some of the cookware seemed a little beaten up. However, the size of the house, the large number of bedrooms and high ratio of bathrooms, were excellent for comfortably fitting our large group. The location was excellent for skiing - just a 2 minute walk to the city bus stop or an easy call for the VIP shuttle - and probably couldn't be beat for the price. I'd definitely stay again.

Our group of 10 women spent an enjoyable 4 nights. We have been on annual retreats since 1985. This house had the cleanest hot tub we have ever seen! Overall the house was very clean and well furnished. We loved having lots of bedrooms and baths. The stairs were a challenge for some of us. The neighborhood was quiet yet offered easy access to downtown. We would stay here again when we come back to Steamboat.

Nothing fancy but basic, clean and good location

Home was what we expected. Layout worked well for 10 adults. The management company provided great service - clean sheets, lots of towels and a mid week clean up. Kitchen and bathrooms could use a updating since home looks like it was built over 20 years ago but it was clean. Only thing really negative as that the home needed a new dishwasher. For the price, it was well worth it.

Annual long weekend blast off

Service desk was top notch, friendly customer service. The house was very nice. Sleeping accommodations were adequate; two couples had to utilize single beds. Kids' accommodations were great. Kitchen was well stocked with all needs.
