This garden level 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condominium at the Pines at Ore House has good quality furnishings, finishes and decor. It is ADA accessible with wider doors, a wider through-way into the bedrooms, flat entry at the front door and patio doors, as well as a low entry profile shower with bench and support bar. There are hard wood floors throughout, good lighting, a large flat screen TV with DVD player mounted in custom cabinetry above the gas fireplace. The dining room table seats 6 and the kitchen features granite counter tops and stainless-steel appliances.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was very comfortable for the 4 of us (2 couples ). Great location with one exception. When we booked we were told we would be about 50 yards from the bus stop. This unit was quite a bit farther so walking in ski boots with skis was a little bit difficult.

We visited Steamboat in January and did some skiing for a few days. The place was great - perfect for 3 or four people. Kitchen was well equipped and I love that they had a tea kettle. The place was clean and close to the bus stop, it can be walked with ski boots but on the edge of being too far. We chose to drive to the slopes instead. There are restaurants, a grocery store and a liquor store within walking distance. Overall a nice place and I will stay there again.

Great location, not 100% accessible for wheelchair

We had a great time here. My dad is wheelchair bound and it was extremely difficult for him to use either bathroom. He couldn't have the chair in the bathroom to use the toilet, so we had to remove it in order to shut the door. Same thing with the shower. Plus neither are roll in. We know this is tough to find in most places, so just fyi for anyone wheelchair bound. We happily made it work. Great location, plus easy access to bus stops so we didn't have to use our cars all weekend.

Ground floor - easy access - close to stores, restaurants, ski slopes

Neither my husband nor I could carry luggage up stairs so this was the perfect unit for us. Easy in and easy out with handicap parking. The blind fell off the window and maintenance was there same day to repair. No other problems. Plenty of supplies and kitchen equipment.

This was a lovely condo, very clean and in good condition. I appreciated the "at-home" feeling which made our stay relaxing. The price was very good (maybe because it was late in the season) but there is not one thing wrong with this place. I strongly suggest this place.

Comfortable, cozy, homey condo

Condo was very comfortable, clean and cozy. It's in a good location, near to shops and more importantly, the two jacuzzis! The condo is at the very end of the complex and would be a long walk carrying all your ski gear to the street to catch the free shuttle bus to the ski area. We drove the car up and parked closer to the beginning of the complex to catch the bus.

Our stay at the Pines at Ore House was pleasurable and comfortab

The service we received from management was quick and helpful. This is the second time we stayed in this unit. The kitchen furniture changed and there is a lot less kitchen supplies, but still ok for cooking a lot of meals for our two week stay. We love this location! We walk to the grocery store, liquor store, movies and restaurants. It's only a short free bus ride to the mountain or downtown.

Relaxing

A great place to come back to after a day on the slopes. It has a comfortable kitchen, so we cooked there for dinner. The grocery store is nearby. The bedrooms are located in different wings of the apartment, which is nice, as kids and adults had their privacy.

We really liked the unit. It was very nice and well equipped. The location can't be better. Right next to City Mart and Walmart. We actually cooked dinner more nights than we went out to eat. I liked the fireplace the best. It puts out a lot of heat. The noise from the unit upstairs was a little loud. This was our second time using Pioneer Ridge and we are very happy with the service.
