The Heart of the Valley home (half of a duplex) takes it's namesake from it's pristine views of the Yampa Valley and convenient location. This beautiful four level home has 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and sleeps 10 people comfortably.

The main level features an open and airy living area with a gas fireplace and spectacular views of the valley. Off of the living room is a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, bar for four, two islands and a gas stove. On either side of the kitchen you will find a dining area. There is enough room for 16 people at the next family feast, including the bar. On the same level you will find a bedroom with a queen bed, views of Emerald Mountain and access to the deck. There is also a private hot tub located on the deck.

On the third level is another bedroom featuring a king bed and private bathroom. The master suite is on the top level and has a large master bath with jacuzzi, amazing views and a king bed.

The lower level features another large living area with it's own gas fireplace, large flat screen TV and surround sound. The bunk room is also located on this level with 2 sets of twin over twin bunk beds. To accommodate an additional 1 - 2 people there is also a full size air mattress available.

We had 11 people in this house and everyone had plenty of space, we all really enjoyed our week. The shuttle service never took more than 10 minutes to get us from the house, downtown, or the mountain. Everyone we communicated with at pioneer ridge was very helpful and professional throughout booking, check in, and check out.

Heart of the valley was perfect for our family of. 6 adults and 2 small children. The house was clean, a great layout, kitchen well stocked. The shuttle provided by Pioneer Management was so great - it made it so easy to go back and forth to the slopes with the little ones. The app was so easy to use ! Hot tub was clean and perfect for post skiing. It’s a perfect location - 3 min ride to the slopes and maybe 10 min to downtown.

It is “the Heart”

We loved this house! Great location, well appointed kitchen , plenty of space for groups to do different things or all be together! Space for ski gear was a plus too Only thing we needed was more or bigger trash cans to contain our masses of recycling and trash, and a modern, working TV on the lower level. The house was very clean, comfortable and well managed. The day we got snow a team come by and shoveled around cars, sidewalks, deck and path to the hot tub. Super appreciated. The shuttle was also a huge asset. It lived up to the name as “the Heart of the Valley” we loved it.

Awesome Place for Group

We were a group of 3 couples and we stayed in Steamboat for 4 days in December 2020. The house was even better than the pictures! It was perfect for our group. We had to cook all of our meals due to Covid restrictions but this was no problem because the house contained everything we needed. Each room had it's own bathroom and was located on a separate floor. We loved the hot tub, too! The property managers were easy to work with. I highly recommend this property!

Great Weekend

This house made for a great weekend with a group of old college friends. The hot tub was amazing and the front desk was extremely prompt to respond to any questions. We made full use of the kitchen which came well stocked. Echoing some other comments - we assumed we could just grab a shuttle (they're currently using VIP shuttles) at the end of the day and they'd be able to take us back home. Unlike other properties we've stayed at, this was definitely not the case so make sure to call for a shuttle pickup otherwise the drivers will not take you. On the bright side, the house is a pretty quick walk downhill from the base. (~10 minutes with ski gear)

Fantastic Property

This property is great, super close to the mountain, and the shuttle service was practically instant to get us up and back. The house had beautiful view and all the accouterments we could want. We did have a little trouble with the hot tub, and left 3 messages with the maintenance staff and no one ever called us back. Luckily my brother in law was able to fix it. Otherwise it was the perfect place and we would definitely stay again.

Great house! Perfect size for three families.

The house was much bigger than we anticipated. There are multiple levels, so be prepared for lots of stairs. We loved how the kids had their own level downstairs and the adults had the second living area. Kitchen was very well stocked. On Friday, the shuttle picked us up within 3 minutes of our call. Saturday was very frustrating trying to get the shuttle at 4:00 after the ski slopes closed. We stood for 25 minutes and asked 3 different VIP shuttles about taking us. None said they were ours. Finally, a very nice driver just told us he would take us. All in all, we had a great stay and would definitely rent this property

Comfortable with plenty of room and a great location!

We had 6 adults and 2 children in this house and it had plenty of room for all of us to gather together (and to get away from each other when we needed some space). Each bedroom has it's own bathroom and the beds were very comfortable. The kids had their own space downstairs, which was great for playtime and downtime. The kitchen was huge, great for us since we all seem to be in the kitchen at the same time and the layout was very functional. The entire family was able to eat at the table together and there was still more room. The hot tub was great and the view of the ski slopes and night skiing was amazing from the living room. And there are bus stops only a few steps away on each side of the house so you can get to and from the mountain with ease while leaving your car in the garage. If you have a large group of people, especially several couples, this is the perfect house for you!

Great spacious place

We stayed here the weekend before Christmas. Great location with excellent space. Had a promotion going so it was $1300 for 3 nights. So it averaged right around $430 a night. Staff that we booked it through was very curtious and helpful. Will definitely book through Pioneer Ridge again!!

Just about Perfect

"Heart" is located in a quiet street close to the ski base (note that you will need to call the shuttle to get to and from the slopes but this is a seamless service provided by Pioneer Ridge) it is a very comfortable property spread over 4 levels. The lowest level holds a large lounge area, a 4 bedded bunk room and bathroom and is just perfect for the kids.This place was perfect for our 10 day stay in Steamboat. In our opinion only two things coud be improved: a) get a new TV for the main lounge (c'mon you can but a nice one for a few hundred dollars at Walmart) and b) locks on the bedroom doors for the grown-ups :>).

Winter wonder land

The house was immaculate. The layout is perfect for what we needed meaning there were separate bedrooms on each floor so everyone had their privacy. Having two living rooms was great as well so we could watch different things on TV.' The views were great of the mountain and the house was perfectly spaced between the slopes and the grocery store. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. PS The hot tub was an extra added bonus. Nothing feels better then a nice soak in the hot tube after a full day of pounding out the bumps. Thanks for the memories.
